Cookie Policy
This website uses very few cookies, and none for advertising or tracking. Here is the complete list and how to control them.

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local and session storage, work in a comparable way. In Malta, their use is governed by Regulation 5 of the Processing of Personal Data (Electronic Communications Sector) Regulations (S.L. 586.01), which implements Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive. Cookies that are not strictly necessary require your prior consent; cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly requested do not.
Our Approach
We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media or tracking cookies. The only cookies and storage on seo-malta.com either make the website work or remember a choice you made. That is why we do not show a consent banner. If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, we will ask for it before setting them.
Cookies and Storage We Use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
soc_fairuse_dismissed | seo-malta.com | Remembers that you closed the information bar at the top of the page, so it is not shown again. | 30 days | Preference (set only when you close the bar) |
_lscache_vary | seo-malta.com (LiteSpeed Cache) | Makes sure the server delivers the right cached version of a page, for example to logged-in editors. | Session to a few days | Strictly necessary |
wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_test_cookie | seo-malta.com (WordPress) | Login and security for site administrators only. Not set for ordinary visitors. | Session up to 14 days | Strictly necessary |
wpEmojiSettingsSupports | seo-malta.com (WordPress) | Session storage (not a cookie) recording whether your browser can display emoji. | Until you close the browser | Strictly necessary |
Third-Party Services
TidyCal booking form: when you click a button to book a call, a booking form provided by TidyCal (Sumo Group Inc., USA) loads. TidyCal may set its own cookies to operate the form. These are governed by the TidyCal privacy policy. The form only loads after you choose to open it.
Hostinger Reach: the site loads a script from Hostinger’s email-marketing service to display sign-up forms. Information on how Hostinger processes data is in Hostinger’s privacy policy.
How Can You Control Cookies?
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working as intended. Guidance is available in the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
